Stéphanie Valleau is an Assistant Professor in the department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington since September 2019. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry (University of Milan, Italy, 2008) a M.S. in Chemical Physics (University of Milan, Italy, 2010) a A.M. in Physics (Harvard University, 2013) and a PhD in Chemical Physics with secondary field in computer science (Harvard University, 2016). Following her PhD, she was awarded a Simons Postdoctoral Fellowship within the Simons Collaboration on Origins of life and carried out her work at Stanford University. Stéphanie's research background is multidisciplinary and her interests lie at the intersection of theoretical chemistry, biophysics and computer science.
